Introduction
Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune is run by Bansilal Ramnath Agarwal Charitable Trust (BRACT). The Trust was established on the 16th of June 1975 under Bombay Trust Act of 1950. The Trust undertakes educational, religious and social activities. “Vishwakarma” as per Indian mythology, is an architect-engineer of the Gods. The Trust has adopted this name with a vision to develop engineers who can take up challenges in technical field with original work and creativity.

Centralized Admission Process
- Online registration of application and uploading of required documents by the Candidate for admission on website ( For Maharashtra State/All India/ J&K Migrant candidates & NRI/OCI/PIO/CIWGC/FN candidates Note:- Candidates opting for Maharashtra plus AI Candidature as well as NRI/PIO/OCI/CIWGC , shall apply separately for each type. )
- Documents verification and confirmation of Application Form for Admission.
a) By Maharashtra State/All India candidates at designated Facilitation Centers (FC) along with print of online filled & submitted application form & copy of uploaded documents.
b) J & K Migrant/NRI/PIO/OCI/CIWGC/FN candidates should send the print of online filled & submitted application form & copy of uploaded documents by hand/speed post/courier for verification & confirmation to “Director, Sardar Patel College of Engineering (SPCE), Versova Road, Munshi Nagar, Andheri (West), Mumbai- 400058” - Display of the provisional merit list for Maharashtra State/All India/J & K Migrant candidates on website.
- Display of Provisional Category wise Seats (Seat Matrix) for CAP Round I
- Online Submission & Confirmation of Option Form of CAP Round-I through candidate’s Login by the Candidate.
- Display of Provisional Allotment of CAP Round-I
- Accepting to the offered seat by candidate through his/her login as per Allotment of CAP Round I.
- Display of Provisional Vacant Seats for CAP Round-II
- Online Submission & Confirmation of Option Form of CAP Round-II through candidate’s Login by the Candidate.
- Accepting to the offered seat by candidate through his/her login as per Allotment of CAP Round II.
- Reporting to the Allotted Institute and Confirmation of Admission by submitting required documents and payment of fees after CAP Round-II
- Display of Provisional Vacant Seats for CAP Round-III
- Accepting to the offered seat by candidate through his/her login as per Allotment of CAP Round III.
Eligibility Criteria
- Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate:
- Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship and obtained at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT – CET 2022 and should obtain a non zero score in MHT – CET 2022.ORPassed minimum 3 years Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).
- All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates
- Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship and obtained at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and should obtain a non-zero positive score in JEE Main (B.E / B.Tech) or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT – CET 2023 and should obtain non zero score in MHT – CET 2023. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining nonzero positive score in JEE Main (B.E / B.Tech) over the candidates who obtained non zero score in MHT – CET 2021.ORPassed minimum 3 years Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks, in case of Backward class categories, economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).
